I began my journey at Children’s Classic in January of 2000. I was working part time in the school age program. During this time, I was also attending Weber State University working on an Elementary Education Degree. After a few years, I was given the opportunity to teach Prekindergarten. I fell in love with this age and began teaching full time. Fast forward about 10 years and I decided it was time to go back to Weber State and finish my degree. I regrettably left Children’s Classic and received my Early Childhood Bachelor’s degree in December 2015. After I graduated, I received the opportunity to teach prekindergarten for a National Daycare. I worked there for 4 months and I just wasn’t happy. I came back to Children’s Classic and it felt like coming home. That’s what being a teacher at Children’s Classic feels like to me, a second home. The teachers and staff are so supportive of each other and all want the best for the children in our care. I love being a teacher at Children’s Classic.
