Staff Testimonials

Miss Amanda

Hi, my name is Amanda. I have worked at Children’s Classic for almost three years and have loved every moment of it! I have worked with every age group the center has to offer during that time but mostly infant through pre-school. I also have taken a lot of classes working toward my Child Development Associate and plan on making teaching my forever career. I am 23 years old and have been married to my husband, Andrew, for 3 years now. I was born and raised in Utah. In my spare time I enjoy to read, play with my dog, be outdoors, craft, and spend time with my husband and friends. I look forward to having your child in my class!

Miss Jen

I began my journey at Children’s Classic in January of 2000. I was working part time in the school age program. During this time, I was also attending Weber State University working on an Elementary Education Degree. After a few years, I was given the opportunity to teach Prekindergarten. I fell in love with this age and began teaching full time. Fast forward about 10 years and I decided it was time to go back to Weber State and finish my degree. I regrettably left Children’s Classic and received my Early Childhood Bachelor’s degree in December 2015. After I graduated, I received the opportunity to teach prekindergarten for a National Daycare. I worked there for 4 months and I just wasn’t happy. I came back to Children’s Classic and it felt like coming home. That’s what being a teacher at Children’s Classic feels like to me, a second home. The teachers and staff are so supportive of each other and all want the best for the children in our care. I love being a teacher at Children’s Classic.

A second mother to us…

Dear Ms. Katherine,
We miss you! We wanted to thank you for being such a wonderful teacher and second mother to us while we were at Children’s Classic. Hopefully, in the future, we will be back again. Enjoy your special day!
